Endocrine Surgery

The Centre’s endocrine surgeons are leaders in the adoption of the latest surgical procedures with an emphasis on short stay minimally invasive techniques including laparoscopic adrenalectomy, minimal access parathyroid and thyroid surgery and, where appropriate, endoscopic neck surgery. An experienced endocrine pathologist provides a rapid confirmation of tissue excision. When required, intra-operative parathyroid hormone assay allows rapid confirmation of successful parathyroid surgery.
